Come See me at Art In The Park on September 18 in Piermont, NY!

On Sunday, September 18, I will be participating in Art in the Park in Piermont, NY. There will be artists with work for sale, and workshops from 1:00-6:00 PM. I will have new work available from my travels to Iceland, and some new print sizes, too. Should be a wonderful afternoon!

BBQs & Holga Experiments

A friend of mine throws an annual BBQ with performances by local bands and a killer brisket. This year I brought my Holga film camera and some attachments to try out. I brought my fisheye lens (which I've played with a bit before) and a flash that had some colored gels (first time using it). Below are the experiments, shot with 120mm Kodak Porta at 400 ISO. I focused on taking multiple exposures with flash, long exposures, and experimented with layering the colored gels within a single image. Learned a lot through reviewing the images, and see room for improvement, but had a blast messing around with the new gear. And, as always, had an amazing time at the show! The bands shown are The Litterbugs, Veneer, and Tongue.

Experiments with Filters

I recently purchased some filters; a 3-stop & 6-stop neutral density, and a circular polarizer. Still working my way through the learning process with them, but I thought I would share my first shots. I'm really enjoying how these tools help capture movement.
